Creative Problem Solving

 This weekend I found a bottle of shoe waterproofing on my counter when I was getting ready to make Owen's Keto food. The following conversation went something like this:

Me: " Why is this in the middle of the counter?"
Devon: "I put it there so you'd bug me about it and then I would remember to waterproof my boots."
Me:" Why didn't you just waterproof them right then?"
Devon: "I was running late."
Me: "So you left it on the counter because you knew I'd bug you about it."
Devon: "I was worried I'd forget again and I knew leaving it in your way was a foolproof way to make sure you reminded me. "
Me:"Really?"
Devon: "Well, it worked didn't it?"
