It seems to be the time of year when everyone talks about shopping. Well, I recently had an experience that reminded me customer service isn't entirely a thing of the past! I ordered THIS popsicle maker just before we started the Ketogenic Diet. The small size of the pops is perfect for making Owen creamsicles (literally cream with a little flavoring). They are also the perfect size for any type of popsicles since even Brenna can eat a whole one in one sitting. Because the molds are soft silicone nothing gets stuck in them either (especially important for Owen's food since every tenth of a gram matters). So, obviously I'm pretty happy with this little kit, in fact I'm probably going to buy another pretty soon so I have one for Owen and one for everyone else.
I had one little problem though! We lost several of the little handles. They seem to get lost and then turn up again when we clean behind the couch. Sometimes I find them in the Lego bins. Awhile ago I was missing 4 all at one time. Since Owen eats popsicles several times a day (whenever he's hungry between meals), that was a problem. I checked the website to see if I could buy some more, but I couldn't find the mini pop sticks. I decided to send them an e-mail and ask if I could buy some straight from the company. They responded right away and said they would send me some for FREE! I wasn't even asking for more because they broke or anything, just because we lost them. A few weeks later the extra sticks arrived in the mail. And then we found some of the missing ones, but now I always have enough to make a whole mold worth of mini pops. That makes me very happy! I can't remember the last time I've been treated so nicely by a company, most just want you to buy a new set. I highly recommend both the mini pops mold AND the company that makes them. And no, just for the record they didn't pay me anything to give them a good review (my blog isn't that important). I also received the replacement sticks BEFORE I wrote this. I'm just thrilled with the product and the company and thought I'd let you know about them.
